Charles W. ‘Chas’ Watson

 

Watson is the President of R.L. Swearer Company, which has been helping it’s clients navigate international trade issues since 1915.  Chas started with the company in 1983, running documents to the Customs House in Downtown Pittsburgh, and has subsequently held virtually  every position within the company. Chas Earned his Customs Brokerage License in 1993, and was in the first “Certified Customs Specialist” (CCS) group awarded this certification. He is a 1988 Graduate of Edinboro University, and holds Masters Certificates in Management, Leadership and Negotiation from Notre Dame University’s Mendoza School of Business. Chas is a Member of the National Customs Broker and Forwarders Association, serves on the Regional District Export Council, and serves as a Board member of the Certified Transportation Network (CTN), a worldwide network of trade service providers.

 

Mark Wilson

 

Wilson is Vice President of R.L. Swearer Company, and has been in charge of export operations since he joined the company in 1987.  Mark graduated from Robert Morris University in 1980, and  started his International business career as an import clerk in 1987.  Marks dedication to his field motivated him to earn has both his Customs Brokers license (1987) and his CCS (2005) while managing a complex and growing air and ocean export operation.  Mark is a Member of the National Customs Broker and Forwarders Association and the International Air Transport Association.
