Dr. Kenneth Saban

Dr. Saban is Associate Professor of Marketing at Duquesne University where he teaches a variety MBA and undergraduate courses including New Product Innovation & Management, Marketing of High Technology, Electronic Marketing, and Strategic Marketing. He also directs "Worldwide Marketing & Sales Delivery Systems" which is an international consulting firm headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA.


With over 25 years experience developing global marketing and sales initiatives for Fortune 500 corporations as well as Small Medium Enterprises, Dr. Saban brings a wealth of expertise to his students and clients alike. He has extensive experience working with such corporations as AT&T, Borden's, Computer Sciences, Midland-Ross, Pass & Seymour/ LeGrand, Robbins & Meyers, Vickers, and Westinghouse Electric.


As a former senior executive, Dr. Saban is well versed with strategic business challenges that management confront on a daily basis. His experience spans a wide array of industries including: Aerospace & Defense; Commercial & Residential Construction; Consumer Products; Do-It-Yourself Retail; Electrical Distribution; Financial Software; High-technology Health Care Products; Hydraulics, Electro-hydraulics & Pneumatics; Marine Propulsion; Motor Repair; MRPII Software; OEM Equipment; Passive Electronics; Residential & Commercial Security; Telecommunications; Thermal Heat Treat; and Waste Treatment.
Dr. Saban also has extensive experience working with federal branches such as the Department of Defense, Department of Energy, Department of Commerce, the FBI and the Department of Justice.


Dr. Saban has developed a particular expertise in the area of technology management through a wide range of research projects, grants and industry partnerships. Currently he is focusing on the impact of digital technology on business performance as well as the major barriers (resource deployment, knowledge management, security and privacy protection) to technology adoption.


Dr. Saban has degrees from Youngstown State University (B.S.B.A.), Northwestern University (M.S.J.), and the University of Pittsburgh (Ph.D.), and has attended numerous world class seminars at Kellogg, Wharton, and the Crosby Quality College.
