Cybersecurity Briefing for C-Level Executives


Cybersecurity is not just an IT issue—it’s an overall corporate risk that affects companies big and small. Are you aware of pending attacks and options to protect your company’s business?


Duquesne University’s Palumbo-Donahue School of Business is hosting an executive briefing on December 8, 2011, held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Pittsburgh Greentree (formerly Raddison Hotel Pittsburgh). Registration, breakfast and networking starts at 7:30 a.m. and wraps up at 11:30 a.m. This invitation only event brings together a high caliber line up of speakers from government, industry and academia, including:

  • Donna Dodson, Deputy Chief Cybersecurity Advisor and Division Chief of the Computer Security Division, National Institute of Standards and Technology will be the keynote speaker. Ms. Dodson has received the 2011 Federal 100 Award. Presented by Federal Computer Week, the award honors the top professionals in the federal information technology community. Ms. Dodson will present NIST’s Cybersecurity initiatives for business.

  • Duquesne University distinguished professors, Dr. Kenneth A. Saban, Associate Professor of Marketing and speaker and author on cyber security issues and Dr. Stephen Rau, Professor, Accounting and Information Systems Division Chair, Associate Professor of Accounting will share findings of a national survey, investigating security preparedness in small and medium enterprises that reside in Banking/Finance, Energy, Manufacturing, Healthcare and Telecommunications industries.
