KEITH SHELTON

Keith Shelton began his career at Chick-fil-A in 1998 in the human resources department, where he selected staff employees at the Atlanta headquarters before joining the Operator Selection team as part of the company’s massive initiative to expand franchises.  Keith is responsible for the entire northeast region, with an emphasis in the Pennsylvania and New Jersey markets.  He has helped select over 100 corporate staff members and over 70 Chick-fil-A operator/owners.   

Keith’s selection philosophy centers on making right decisions for individuals and the organization.  As a result, his corporate retention rate is an impressive 96 percent and his operator/owner retention rate is 97 percent.  Keith works with 13 business consultants that oversee 400 franchises.  Chick-fil-A, which was founded in 1967, has over 1,200 stores and 35,000 team members in 36 states.
