Understanding & Using Multigenerational Differences To Maximize Employee Productivity, Attract New Customers & Take on Your Competition

Multigenerational workforces have never been so prevalent and so influential. At no other time in history have we experienced four generations coming together to work. While age differences have an impact, the real shift is in the values and beliefs of each generation. With a shift in demographics, as well as an upcoming talent shortage, this factor is going to become even more critical to running a business.

The explosion of technology and global thinking, as well as the pace of change and innovation in our world today, creates a dramatic change in how organizations think about their employees and how to best service customers. The entire paradigm of ‘the organization’ is changing and there is no simple model to follow to succeed, as we might have seen in the past.

To make assumptions that the next generation will expect the same workplace or form of service that past generations have is naïve. There are different expectations, assumptions, priorities and approaches to work and communication that are critical in today’s business climate.

In this opening session we will share and explore the different generations, their motivations as well as how multigenerational differences will impact your workplace and your customers.
