Travel and Accommodations Information

For out-of–town attendees, a block of rooms have been reserved at the Holiday Inn Express / Southside from November 12th through November 14th (check out is 11:00 a.m.). Rooms at the discounted rate will be held until October 29th for conference participants.

The hotel offers complimentary local area shuttle services from 7:00 a.m. to 10:20 p.m. daily for transportation to and from Duquesne University.

Walk-In Registration

The fee for walk-in registrants is $130.00. We will try to accommodate individuals wishing to register the day of the event. However we strongly recommend that you pre-register to guarantee a space.

All programs are being held on the Duquesne University Campus conveniently located on the edge of downtown Pittsburgh at 600 Forbes Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15282 -- (412) 396-6233. Registration will be held in the Student Union Building. (campus map and directions)

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Registered participants who request a cancellation via e-mail, fax, or phone on or before November 6th will be granted a refund minus a $50.00 administration charge.

**We are unable to reimburse the registration fee for cancellations received after November 29th. However, registration can be transferred to any other program held through the Duquesne University Small Business Development Center throughout the remainder of the year.

To request a refund prior to the registration deadline, please submit your request in writing to duqsbdc@duq.edu.

**Additionally due to costs incurred, all unpaid registrants will be invoiced for the full registration fee regardless of actual event attendance, unless cancelled before November 6th. Please contact us at 412-396-6233.
