Doyle Center For Manufacturing Technology
Founded
in 2003, the Doyle Center for Manufacturing Technology is a federally
funded, non-profit organization established to help small- and medium-sized
manufacturing enterprises succeed in the development and participation
of modern supply chains and remain vital to the U.S. economy.
The Doyle Center provides Network Centric ManufacturingSM solutions
for U.S. based manufacturing enterprises and their customers using state-of-the-art
business processes, technology, best practices and training
to improve supply chain value, quality and responsiveness. The Doyle
Center, located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is the successor of a research-based
program known as the Technology Insertion Demonstration & Evaluation
(TIDE), which launched in 1998 by Congressman Mike Doyle to help small
manufacturing
enterprises stay competitive.
