Normative Leadership: The “HOW TO” Science of Culture Change (in-person) (Wexford location)

This is an in-person workshop.

Are you looking for practical, actionable skills that can immediately elevate your leadership effectiveness? The Normative Leadership Workshop is designed to help leaders understand and manage the cultural dynamics that shape organizational success.

Today’s workplace presents leaders with challenges such as:

  • Technology distractions
  • Lack of accountability and initiative
  • Poor communication and cooperation between departments
  • Difficulty hiring and retaining staff
  • Managing power struggles and difficult employees

These issues are often symptoms of a deeper problem: group norms—the unwritten rules that dictate “how we do things around here.” This workshop provides a proven system for identifying, shaping, and managing these norms to create a high-performing culture.

Whether you’re a new or seasoned supervisor, manager, administrator, coach, or aspiring leader, this program will equip you with timeless strategies and skills to:

  • Understand and “read” organizational culture
  • Set behavioral parameters for your team
  • Apply tools like the Force Field and Polsky Diamond to gain cultural control
  • Implement strategies for change to strengthen your group’s normative infrastructure

By mastering these concepts, you’ll become a leader who confidently navigates group and individual behavior, drives accountability, and fosters collaboration—ultimately distinguishing yourself as a leader who gets results.

Participants will have the opportunity to critique their video in class, and receive feedback from the other participants regarding their observations.
