The Duquesne University SBDC Capital Access Program assists companies attain financing for startup or expanding businesses. Whether a firm is just getting started or needs capital to expand facilities, the SBDC can advise firms throughout the financing process and assist in preparing the proper documentation required by the financier.
Benefits for Lenders
The SBDC can work with the lending institution to expedite the process by working hands-on with the applicant company to prepare projections, fine-tune the business plan if required, create the loan package, identify potential “red flags” and ensure the client understands the requirements and procedures. This reduces the time it takes for the client to flow through the process and obtain approval!
The SBDC can obtain no cost market research for the firm that includes GPS mapping site analysis for location decision making and tools for locating market, financial, demographic, competitor and customer data.
These hands on services are available at no cost to you or the customer. The SBDC receives funding from the U.S. Small Business Administration and PA Department of Community and Economic Development to assist firms develop and grow.
