Duquesne University Small Business Development Center Announces Renewal and Expansion of Sponsorship with First Commonwealth Bank

Pittsburgh, PA - February 2026 - The Duquesne University Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is pleased to announce that First Commonwealth Bank has renewed and expanded its sponsorship, reinforcing a long-standing partnership dedicated to strengthening small businesses across Western Pennsylvania.

Representatives from First Commonwealth Bank met recently with the Duquesne University SBDC leadership team to discuss ongoing collaboration and new opportunities to support entrepreneurs. During the meeting, the bank confirmed not only its continued sponsorship, but an expansion of its financial commitment—support that will directly enhance SBDC programming, training initiatives, and consulting services.

We are grateful for First Commonwealth Bank’s continued confidence in the work we do,” said Rich Longo, Director Duquesne University SBDC. “This expanded sponsorship ensures that we can reach more entrepreneurs with the resources, education, and guidance they need to thrive. Partnerships like this are essential to building a stronger and more vibrant smal-business community.”

Through this strengthened partnership, both organizations aim to accelerate small-business development throughout the region and ensure entrepreneurs have access to high-quality, no-cost support.
