Celebrating Small Business Advocacy!
Rich Longo, Director, and John Higgins, Marketing, Training, and Informatics Manager, of the Duquesne University Small Business Development Center had the honor of meeting with PA State Representative Valerie Gaydos (and her friend, Annie) to discuss the impactful work being done by Duquesne University, our SBDC, and the PA SBDC network to drive economic development for small businesses across the region.
Initiatives we discussed were working with high schools in her district to introduce entrepreneurship to youth, and for her and staff to visit the Duquesne University Palumbo Donahue School of Business with an emphasis on the SBDC and the Center for Entrepreneurship.
Valerie Gaydos continues to support and provide advocacy for Pennsylvania’s small businesses. We presented her with a plaque of recognition for her unwavering support. We’re proud to work alongside leaders who share our commitment to empowering entrepreneurs and strengthening our communities.
